BIO

Claude Harris, Jr. aka Claude Deuce was born and raised in Augusta Ga by his parents, Pastors Claude and Regina Harris. He and his sister, Danielle Harris serve in ministry alongside their parents. He is 1 of 3 Campus Leaders at New Life Worship Center West and oversees the music ministry at New Life Worship Center’s South Campus!

Claude has been singing since the age of 2. Greatly influenced in music by his mother who trained him vocally. He began his instrumental journey at 5 on the drums, at 9 on the bass guitar, at 11 on the alto sax and 13 on the piano/organ. By 15 he was producing/programming musical tracks.

Claude is a Stellar award nominated artist/songwriter/producer! He's written for many gospel artists like Shirley Murdock (“Winner In Me, Word) , Deitrick Haddon (The Word), Christina Bell (Bow Down), Denise Tichenor-Davis (Peace About It), Monica Lisa Stevenson (Right There, Testimony) and the list continues to grow! His first national placement was Sean Simmonds “I Made It” on Xist/Tyscot Records. His song “Bow Down” by Christina Bell reached #18 on the Billboard Gospel Airplay Charts. Claude was a member of PJ Morton’s band from 2010-2012 on The Walk Alone Tour singing background vocals and playing aux keys. He also toured as a background vocalist with Jonathan Nelson. He is a featured vocalist on Nelson’s “Anything Can Happen” from the album, Fearless! He released his most recent album, 39, in 2020 and has an upcoming EP entitled, “Merrimac Ave” dropping Fall ‘22
